Although our stay was short, we made the most of it by trying several places — and we’re only recommending the very best.
The Best Gluten-Free Restaurants in Malaga
The GlutenFree Company

This 100% gluten-free restaurant is the perfect spot to enjoy everything from tasty paninis to delicious desserts — all without worrying about cross-contamination. Their kitchen focuses on homemade, healthy dishes, making it an ideal choice for those seeking safe and flavorful options.
The café’s vintage décor and the warm hospitality of the owner — a friendly English woman who makes every guest feel welcome — turn each visit into a unique experience. It’s the perfect place to take a break during a busy day of sightseeing in Malaga.
Naked and Sated Málaga

This modern, health-focused spot offers a wide variety of gluten-free options in a strategic location for exploring Malaga.
We were already familiar with their location in Bilbao, and for us, it’s always a safe bet. We’re huge fans of Chef Bosquet and his delicious creations, so this place definitely had to make it onto our list of Malaga recommendations.
From nourishing bowls to tasty gluten-free burgers and pizzas, this place truly has something for everyone. Their “Sugar free, Gluten free, Guilty free” philosophy is all about using natural, fresh ingredients — making every dish a healthy and delicious choice.
Top Gluten-Free Cafés and Bakeries in Malaga
El Pastelero Real
Address: C. Babel, 5, Cruz de Humilladero
We absolutely loved this place — it’s truly a paradise for celiacs looking for delicious, handcrafted treats. Although it’s a bit off the main tourist path, it’s well worth the detour just to try their incredible churros and cakes.
As you know, we usually avoid refined sugar, but this time we made an exception to fully enjoy their selection of breads, pastries, and of course, their gluten-free churros — and we have zero regrets!
That said, apologies to the locals for not trying the famous pitufos, but we promise we’ll be back.
On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and the value for money is outstanding — making this spot a must-visit for any gluten-free traveler in Malaga.
Reviv Café
Address: C. Fajardo, 4, Distrito Centro, 29005 Málaga
As we mentioned earlier, we didn’t get the chance to try the famous Malaga-style breakfast — but we couldn’t miss this charming café.
Located in the heart of Malaga, it features a cozy terrace on a pedestrian street — perfect for enjoying a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
Here you’ll find healthy options, refreshing smoothies, and a delicious selection of gluten-free sweets.
It’s the perfect spot for a light breakfast or an energy-boosting snack.
We also discovered their incredible gluten-free cookie dough — an irresistible treat that won us over so completely, we didn’t stop until we figured out how to recreate it at home. Don’t leave without trying it!
Heladería Yummy
Address: C. Molina Lario, 6, Distrito Centro, 29015 Málaga
Do you know Marilyn Monroe’s iconic film The Seven Year Itch? Well, for us, temptation was waiting right outside the door of our apartment in central Malaga.
This 100% gluten-free ice cream shop offers an amazing variety of natural flavors, along with lactose-free and vegan options.
It’s the perfect place to cool off after a day of exploring Malaga. With so many tempting options on display, choosing just one flavor feels like mission impossible.
Where to Buy Gluten-Free Products in Malaga
Carrefour Express
Although we didn’t need to buy many gluten-free products on this trip, we did come across a Carrefour Express near the Roman Theatre in Malaga that had a dedicated section for celiacs.
There you can find a wide variety of gluten-free products, including bread, cookies, flours, and other items suitable for those following a gluten-free diet.
Plus, there are several Carrefour Express locations in Malaga’s city center, making it even easier to access these products during your stay.
